Jessica Millar

Jessica Millar is an experienced professional in the fields of energy storage and mathematics. Currently, Jessica serves in Interactive Grid Controls at MicroEra Power, Inc., focusing on integrating tunable thermal storage with innovative grid management solutions. As the Principal at GridWorks Energy Consulting since December 2017, Jessica specializes in analyzing and managing projects related to distributed thermal energy storage and low-carbon electric grid coordination. Previously, Jessica held multiple leadership roles at VCharge, including Chief Technical Officer, Chief Science Officer, and CEO, contributing to advancements in high-efficiency thermal storage technology. Academic contributions include positions as a Visiting Professor of Mathematics at Brown University and Assistant Professor at Harvard University. Jessica earned a PhD in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
