Nicholas Monroe is an experienced Application Scientist at Micromeritics Instrument Corporation since February 2021. Monroe previously interned at The Chemours Company during the summer of 2020, where work involved utilizing discrete element method (DEM) software for sensitivity analysis on particle interactions within powder beds, ultimately contributing to quality improvement in particle products. Prior experience includes a process engineering internship at BASF in the summer of 2019, focusing on up-sizing projects for equipment in a pigment manufacturing setting. Nicholas holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, completed between 2016 and 2020.
