Omar Kayal

Omar Kayal has a diverse range of work experience. Omar started their career as a Crewmember at McDonald's Corporation in 2011, where they facilitated food preparation and maintained the fast-food quality standards. Omar then volunteered as a Red Cross Volunteer at the Red Cross Youth Club from 2011 to 2013.

In 2014, Omar joined CSC Bank as a Credit Analyst, where they monitored and reported on credit risk exposures internally and externally. Omar updated and maintained excel models and analyzed credit risk in various portfolios. Omar held this role until 2016.

Omar then worked as a Freelance Writer at FadeIn in 2018, where they collaborated with a senior and junior writer to develop an animated show targeting Jordanian children, funded by UNICEF. Each episode had the theme of violence against children. Omar also worked as a Video Editor at CNN from June to September 2018.

In 2019, Omar joined Prototype as a Business Development Executive. In this role, they managed client relationships and utilized various tools to create business opportunities for impactful projects. Omar crafted business development strategies, delivered pitch presentations, and prepared proposals. Omar worked at Prototype until May 2020.

Currently, Omar Kayal is working at the Middle East Broadcasting Center as a Screenwriting Analyst since September 2020. Further details about their role are not provided.

Omar Kayal holds a Master of Arts - MA in Screenwriting from the MetFilm School, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the American University of Beirut, spanning from 2011 to 2014.
