Waad Arif

Television Journalist at Middle East Broadcasting Center

Waad Arif has a diverse work experience in the field of media and academia. They started their career in 2015 as a Television Presenter at Saudi Broadcasting Authority. After a year, they joined MBC GROUP as a Television Journalist in 2016. In 2017, Waad became a Teaching Assistant at King Saud University, and later progressed to the role of Assistant Professor in 2022. With this background, Waad has gained expertise in journalism, television production, and teaching.

Waad Arif's education history begins in 2013 when they attended King Saud University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree at the University of Leeds from 2017 to 2018. The focus of their Master's degree was International Communication. Following their Master's degree, Waad Arif continued their academic journey at the University of Leeds, where they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy program in International and Political Communication from 2019 to 2022.
