Christopher Gudas, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience in the field of addiction medicine and public health. From 2022 to present, they serve as the Medical Director at Aware Recovery Care In Home Addiction Treatment. Prior to this role, they worked as the MOUD Medical Director at the Bristol County Sheriff's Office starting in 2021. Dr. Christopher Gudas obtained their diploma from Milton Academy in 1997. Christopher then pursued their undergraduate degree at Brown University, earning an A.B. in Visual Arts in 2002 and an Sc.B. in Neuroscience in the same year. Following this, Dr. Gudas completed their medical education at UMass Chan Medical School, where they obtained their M.D. degree from 2004 to 2009.
In 2012, Dr. Gudas enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in the General Preventive Medicine Residency Program, which they completed in 2013. Additionally, they have obtained board certifications in Addiction Medicine from the American Board of Preventive Medicine in 2018 and in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine in 2015, both of which further demonstrate their commitment to preventive medicine and public health.
