Ashama Babooram

Ashama Babooram has a diverse work experience history. In their most recent position, they worked as a Project Engineer at Middough Inc. starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they were a Quality Engineer at GE Aviation from March 2022 to August 2022. They also gained experience as a Wireline Field Engineer at Schlumberger from May 2021 to December 2021. In addition, Ashama has held various roles within student organizations, such as being a Secretary at the American Rock Mechanics Association from July 2020 to May 2021 and serving in multiple positions at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) - University of Houston Student Chapter and the American Association of Drilling Engineers. Ashama Babooram completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston between 2016 and 2021. Prior to that, Ashama obtained a High School Diploma from Seven Lakes High School, which they attended from 2012 to 2016. Ashama also holds several additional certifications, including CMG Reservoir Simulation Model Creation & Analysis using BUILDER & RESULTS from Computer Modelling Group Ltd., Python Bootcamp from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from Anexas Europe, and Wild Well Control Certification from Wild Well. The certifications were obtained in different years, with the most recent being CMG Reservoir Simulation Model Creation & Analysis in February 2021.
