Erik Bowers

Erik Bowers has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering industry. Erik began their career in 1999 as a Drafter II at Precision Ladders, LLC, where they designed commercial ladders, wheelchair lifts, and engineer support for commercial boilers. In 2007, they moved to Summerville Homes as a Drafter. In 2008, they were hired as a Drafter III at SAIC. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Barrette Outdoor Living as a Product Development Engineer and a Draftsman. In 2016, they joined Hubbell Lighting as a Product Engineer. In 2021, they were hired as a Mechanical Engineer at STAR EV CORPORATION. In 2022, they moved to KION North America as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Erik'scurrent role is Product Engineering Manager at Mide Technology Corporation, where they started in 2023.

Erik Bowers received a B.A.S. in Engineering Technology from East Tennessee State University in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained an Associates in Drafting & Design from Walters State Community College in 1999. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Solid Edge ST9 Certified Professional from Siemens PLM Software in 2017, CSWPA-SM Certified SolidWorks Professional - Advanced Sheet Metal from DS SolidWorks Corporation in 2015, and Certified SolidWorks Professional from DS SolidWorks Corporation in 2013.
