Stockup Field Manager

Midland Tool has been servicing its customers since 1962 with the most recognized service and supplies in the industry. Midland's customers range from some of the world’s largest contractors, industrial plants and factories, to local mechanical, electrical and steel erection.

The StockUp Manager Position:

To assist its growing business, Midland Tool is seeking to hire a StockUp Manager. Midland expects this person to grow and manage our StockUp program. Midland Tools StockUp program is designed to be an extension of our warehouse supporting our customers with the tools and consumables they need to get the job done. Our StockUp site locations are scattered across the US supporting some the biggest jobsite and biggest contractors in the construction industry. The position of the StockUp manger is to manage our current StockUp locations as well as working with our team to identify and grow new opportunities. Some travel is required setting new StockUp locations, cycle counting inventory as well as attending tradeshows promoting Midland Tools StockUp program. 

Principal Responsibilities:

• Develop meaningful relationships with customers

• Manage inventory levels

• Managing our StockUp app

• Managing the StockUp team

• Oversee transactions and billings

• Review mins and max of inventory

• Travel is required – Each location setup & inventory counts

• Developing inventory lists for jobsite needs

• Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer

• Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership

• Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates

• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Experience and Skills:

• 3+ years of sales experience

• 4+ years of customer service experience

• Construction industry experience – Preferred

• Strong listening and communication skills

• Can work alone or on a team – Teamwork

• Attention to detail

• Strong Presentation Skills

• Proficient in MS Office - Excel
