Wayne Martens is currently the Mobile Ag/Commercial Lender at Midwest Heritage, A Hy-Vee Company. Prior to this, they served as the SVP at Union State Bank - Iowa from February 2009 to October 2015. In this role, they oversaw the loan policy, loan administration, and the entire loan portfolio of the bank. Wayne also chaired the loan committee and reported out to the bank president and board of directors.
From June 2007 to February 2009, Martens served as the CEO of Madison County Development Group. In this role, they oversaw the efforts in economic development for Madison County, Iowa. This non-profit's mission was to attract, retain, and support businesses throughout the county. Wayne also served as administrator for the Greater Madison County Community Foundation and was on the advisory board of Madison County Leadership Institute.
Prior to their role at Madison County Development Group, Martens served as the Market President at MidwestOne Bank from January 2003 to December 2007.
Wayne Martens attended the Graduate School of Banking in Wisconsin and [Iowa State University, where they earned a BS in Agricultural Business. Wayne also attended Earlham.
They work with Tanya LaBahn - VP, Commercial Lender- Sioux Falls, Jenae Iverson - Treasury Management Officer, and Brandon Bock - Senior Credit Officer. Wayne Martens reports to Todd McGowan, SVP, Senior Lender.
