Rene Griemens

Rene Griemens is the Chief Financial Officer at Mighty Buildings. Rene has over 17 years of experience in finance and has held various leadership positions in companies such as Volocopter GmbH, Kreditech Holding SSL GmbH, and IEG - INVESTMENT BANKING.

As the CFO of Volocopter, Rene was responsible for the financial strategy of the company and led all fundraising activities. Under their leadership, the Finance & Legal team grew from zero to over 25 people and developed the Finance, Legal & Compliance functions to audited U.S. listing readiness within three years. As a team, they grew the valuation from approx. USD 120 million at time of joining to unicorn (well over USD one billion) in the latest Series D round.

Prior to Volocopter, Rene was the Managing Director at Kreditech Holding SSL GmbH where they oversaw the company's financial operations. Before Kreditech, Rene was with IEG - INVESTMENT BANKING for 9 years where they started as an Analyst in 2004 and worked their way up to Managing Director.

Rene has a proven track record in growing companies and is an expert in financial strategy and fundraising. Rene is a valuable asset to Mighty Buildings and is helping to lead the company to continued success.

Rene Griemens has an MBA from INSEAD, and a BA and MA in Economics and Finance from the University of Cologne.

Rene Griemens reports to Slava Solonitsyn, CEO & Co-Founder. They work with Tanya Serykh - VP, Sustainability, Mark Aldrich - General Counsel, and Chris Murphy - Chief Product Officer.
