Programmer Team Lead at Mighty Kingdom

Reece Howe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Reece began their career in 2001 at TAFE SA as a Level 1 PC Support/Helpdesk technician, where they developed skills in software, hardware, and network support. Reece worked in this role until 2002.

In 2003, Reece joined EDS Credit Services as a Finance Officer, primarily working in the Terms and Conditions Department. Reece worked on a part-time basis for 25 hours per week, with occasional weeks of up to 40 hours.

Reece returned to TAFE SA in 2006, this time as an ICT Executive/Desktop/Service Desk Support Officer. Reece provided level 1 and 2 desktop support to staff and students across multiple TAFE SA campuses. Reece also supported the Executive Workgroup and performed tasks such as troubleshooting software/hardware/network issues and writing technical and user documentation. Their role at TAFE SA ended in 2006.

From 2006 to 2008, Reece worked as a Help Desk Officer for Hewlett-Packard, providing level 1 help desk support for the CBA Desktop Support Account. Reece logged and maintained calls, provided remote access support, and troubleshooted software/hardware/network issues.

In 2008, Reece joined SA Health as an ICT Support Analyst, where they provided desktop support to Glenside Mental Health Service, Community Mental Health sites, and Prison Health sites. Reece also held the role of ICT Support Officer, responsible for the deployment and maintenance of devices within SA Health Central.

From 2011 to 2012, Reece worked at DCSI as an ICT Desktop Support Officer. Reece provided desktop support to the Riverside Centre and associated buildings, and was involved in the Community Homes Roll Out project.

Reece then joined Urban Renewal Authority trading as Renewal SA in 2012 as a Desktop Support Officer. Reece provided desktop support to Renewal SA and associated sites, performing tasks such as software, hardware, and network support.

In 2015, Reece began working at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment as a Casual Student Ambassador/IT Support. Reece later pursued an Advanced Diploma in Professional Game Development - Programming, where they focused on programming languages, game development in Unity3D, and building a game engine using OpenGL. Reece also worked as a Level 1 Teacher and Tutor/Instructor, teaching a Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology.

Reece's most recent work experience is at Mighty Kingdom since 2017. Reece started as a Graduate Programmer, responsible for developing games for iOS and Android. Reece gained experience with Ad SDKs. Reece later became a Junior Programmer before progressing to Programmer and Programmer Team Lead. Reece continues to contribute to game development at Mighty Kingdom.

Reece Howe's education history includes an Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development in Game Programming from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) RTO 88021, which was obtained from 2015 to 2016. They also attended TAFE SA from 1998 to 2000, studying Information Technology. Outside of their formal education, Reece obtained several certifications including Responsible Service of Alcohol from TAFE SA in April 2015, and certificates in Information Technology from TAFE SA in December 2000 and December 1999.
