Sundar Visweswaran

Sundar Visweswaran has worked at four companies, starting with The Shorthorn Publications in 2010. At The Shorthorn, they were an Online Assistant, responsible for maintaining daily content on the website and participating in weekly review of content validation and discussing new ideas for the website. Sundar was also involved in exclusive web projects such as a crime map, parking map, enrollment flash graph, and a road map for the University Basketball team. In 2011, Sundar started working at Cerner Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the services side of the Population Health Solution, consuming data from the underlying layer, using Hbase to run Map/Reduce jobs on Hadoop, and providing REST API for the application. Sundar used technologies such as Hadoop, Apache HBase, Map/Reduce jobs, Apache Hue, AVRO, and Apache Solr. Sundar was also involved in designing and building UI graphing components that were to be open-sourced. In 2015, Sundar started working at MathWorks as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. In 2021, they started working at Mighty Networks as a Senior Software Engineer.

Sundar Visweswaran obtained a BTech in Computer Science from SRM University from 2005 to 2009. Sundar then went on to pursue a Masters in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they hold a Business English Certificate Vantage (EOSL) from Cambridge University.
