Xiaoyu Zhang

Xiaoyu Zhang is an experienced engine programmer with a strong background in game development and software engineering. Current role at miHoYo began in November 2022, following a tenure at Alibaba Group LingXiGames from April 2018 to November 2022. Prior experience includes positions as a senior game engine programmer at Netease Games and a senior software engineer at Virtuos, where contributions included the remastering of L.A. Xiaoyu's earlier roles featured work as a graphics programmer at 2K Games China, focusing on game prototypes and technical demos, and as a software engineer at Morgan Stanley, developing high-performance trading applications and improving testing frameworks. Xiaoyu began a career at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2012 after earning a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2010.
