Lisa Roy

Lisa Roy has extensive experience in cultural education and community engagement, currently serving as the Manager of Adult Daytime Culture & Education at Miles Nadal JCC since October 2014. Prior to this role, Lisa was the Coordinator for Active 55+: Culture, Education, Community at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre. Lisa has a notable background in communications and arts, having worked as the Director of Communications and Cultural Arts Coordinator at The Winchevsky Centre, where initiatives like the Youth Theatre Ensemble and Theatre Camp were established. Additional roles include Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director at Reaching Symmetries Theatre, and an Educational Services Assistant at Young People's Theatre. Lisa's career commenced in telemarketing with The Canadian Stage Company. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre - Directing from York University.
