Matthew Brown

Matthew Brown has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Matthew began their career in the British Army as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, where they were responsible for leading a team of engineers and mechanics. After ten years in the military, Matthew transitioned to the corporate sector, starting as an IT Systems Manager at Universal Architectural Aluminium Systems. Matthew then moved to Nationwide Building Society as a Senior Systems Specialist, where they managed a Windows datacentre server environment.

Matthew's career in the financial sector began at St. James's Place Wealth Management, where they held various technology roles, including Head of IT Service Operations, Head of Infrastructure and Operational Design, and Head of Group IT. In these positions, they were responsible for defining and implementing IT infrastructure strategies, maintaining operational systems, and delivering core infrastructure services.

Matthew also worked at Rowan Dartington as the Head of Technology, overseeing all aspects of technology within the company and implementing the technology strategy. Currently, they are employed at Milestones Trust as the Assistant Director of IT, where they are responsible for technology strategy, compliance, and managing third-party suppliers.

Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated expertise in digital transformation, technology strategy, and operational management.

Matthew Brown attended Princess Marina College from 1991 to 1992, where they studied Electronic Engineering. Matthew did not complete a degree during this time.
