Giacomo Sotgiu

Giacomo is a talented VFX Producer who joined Milk’s production team in 2021, bringing his passion, drive and experience gained across a range of episodic and film projects at London VFX studios.

Giacomo joined Milk from London based Freefolk where he was VFX Line Producer on Amazon’s Pennyworth 2; The Third Day (Sky/HBO); BAFTA nominated VFX work on Netflix’ Cursed and a number of commercials. Prior to this Giacomo honed his production skills at Jellyfish Pictures where his credits include holiday special How To Train Your Dragon: Homecoming.

Giacomo made the jump into VFX after studying 3D modelling and rendering at Bristol College and VFX Production at Escape Studios where he continued as in-house VFX co-ordinator after graduating. Giacomo hails from Sardinia, Italy where he began his professional life as a qualified surveyor. His love of cinema and fascination with VFX took root as a kid, watching classic blockbusters such as Back to the Future and Jurassic Park.
