Joanne Ede

Joanne Ede has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joanne started their career at Linklaters, where they served as a Managing Associate, Associate, and Trainee Solicitor from 1999 to 2008. Joanne then joined Hogan Lovells (legacy Hogan & Hartson) as a Counsel from 2009 to 2014.

In 2014, Joanne transitioned to Smiths Group plc, where they worked as both a Senior Legal Counsel and an Interim Legal Counsel for several months. In 2015, they moved to Smiths Medical and held the position of Associate General Counsel, EMEA/APAC until 2021.

Joanne's most recent role is with MillerKnoll, where they joined in 2021 as the VP & Associate General Counsel - International.

Joanne Ede began their education in 1992 at the University of Surrey, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Law and Russian. Joanne completed their degree in 1997. In 1993, they also took a Russian Language Course at the Moscow Youth Institute. Following their undergraduate studies, Joanne enrolled at Nottingham Law School in 1997, where they pursued a Legal Practice Course, which they completed in 1998. In 1998, they also took a Russian Language Course at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).
