Molly Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Molly started their career in 2011 as a Media Relations Intern at Saint Mary's College, where they researched and created compelling story content for the college website. Molly then joined Gap Inc. as a Sales Associate, where they increased store sales through customer service and merchandising standards. Molly later took on the role of Acting Manager at Gap Inc., where they were responsible for store sales, visual merchandising standards, and customer service.

In 2012, Molly became a Merchandising Specialist at Gap Inc./Old Navy, supervising merchandising and visual elements within the women's sections of the store. Molly also supervised weekly incoming shipments and a team of ten. Molly then became an Assistant Store Manager of Merchandising at Gap Inc., where they executed visual displays, planned merchandise flow, and adjusted product placement based on sales reports. Molly briefly worked as a Brand Logistics Expert, supervising the shipment process and replenishing the sales floor.
