Junyu Gong

Junyu Gong is a Senior Scientist at MilliporeSigma since June 2024, following a tenure as a Scientist specializing in lipid chemistry and LNP drug delivery at ReCode Therapeutics from August 2020 to May 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Ph.D. student and research assistant under Professor Jef De Brabander at UT Southwestern Medical Center from August 2015 to August 2020, where Junyu Gong conducted research on the total synthesis of the marine macrolide mangrolide D. Junyu Gong’s academic journey began with an undergraduate research assistant position at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry in late 2014 and culminated in obtaining a PhD in Organic Chemistry from UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2020, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Nankai University in 2015.
