Andrew Thaw is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of psychology and neuroscience. Currently, Andrew serves as the Associate Dean of Sciences, Director of Pre-Health, and Professor and Chair of Psychology at Millsaps College, where tenure began in August 1998. Prior to this, Andrew worked as an NIH Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College, focusing on the physiological mechanisms regulating hunger and satiety. Additional experience includes a Visiting Professor role at Sweet Briar College and a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position at the University of Virginia, specializing in electrophysiology and neuroanatomy of the mammalian taste system. Andrew earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Florida State University and holds a degree from Georgia Southern University.
