Peter Hamscher

Peter Hamscher has a diverse background in business development and data analysis, currently serving as Team Lead and Senior Commercial Enterprise West at Mimecast since February 2017. In this role, Peter focuses on mentoring the Senior CD West team, managing KPIs, and collaborating with executive leadership on forecasting. Previous positions at Mimecast include Senior Account Manager and Commercial Customer Account Manager, where Peter developed relationships with midmarket business accounts and drove incremental revenue opportunities. Prior to Mimecast, Peter was a Data Analyst at the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics, drafting strategic proposals for leading automotive companies, and held roles at UMass Boston as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, focusing on environmental science. Peter holds a Graduate Certificate in Clean Energy & Sustainability and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from UMass Boston.
