Josh Sylvester has had extensive experience in supply chain and procurement management. Josh started their career at Marathon Ashland Petroleum as a Procurement Intern, where they gained experience in purchasing and negotiation. Josh then joined Cardinal Health, where they held various roles, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Operations Manager. In these positions, they worked on complex projects and implemented operational efficiencies.
After their time at Cardinal Health, Josh joined Shionogi Inc. as the Distribution Services Manager for the U.S. Josh was later promoted to Director of Supply Chain, where they managed planning operations and reduced backorders through effective management. Finally, they became the Senior Director of Supply Chain, responsible for the company's non-promoted products and overseeing the trade and distribution/transportation network.
In 2017, Josh joined MiMedx as the Vice President of Supply Chain & Procurement. Here, they played a crucial role in developing and advancing the supply chain organization. Josh also gained additional responsibility in leading the Recovery Services network and achieved significant growth and cost reductions.

Josh Sylvester obtained their BS in Integrated Supply Matrix Management from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business, graduating in 2002. Josh then pursued an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, completing it in 2008. In 1999, they earned an Associates degree in Business Administration from Alpena Community College. Additionally, Josh has obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from George Group (Accenture)/Cardinal Health in 2007, Florida Pedigree (Rx) Certified Designated Representative from Florida Department of Health in 2005, and CSCP - Certified Supply Chain Professional from APICS. In 2014, they attended the University of Mississippi for a Hands-On Tablet Technology Program, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this program. In 2012, they completed the High Potentials Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, again without a specified degree or field of study.
