Maximilian Schmidt has a diverse work experience beginning in 2011 when they worked as a Graphic Designer for Diakonie Neuendettelsau. In 2014, they became a Freelance UX Designer and also worked as a UX Designer and Concept Design Intern for Interone. In 2017, they took on the role of Senior Digital Product Designer at intive. In 2019, they became a Senior Experience Consultant at Namics - A Merkle Company. In 2020, they took on the role of Lecturer Digital Innovation Design at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as Director Design (Emperor), Innovation Lead & Senior Data Product Designer, and Data Model Engineer (Expert Level) at Mindfuel.

Maximilian Schmidt is currently enrolled in a Executive MBA program at Quantic School of Business and Technology. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Multimediale Information und Kommunikation from Hochschule Ansbach - University of Applied Sciences, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Medienproduktion- und technik (Media production and technology) from OTH Amberg-Weiden. Additionally, Maximilian Schmidt has obtained several certifications, including an Enterprise Design Thinking - Team Essentials for AI from IBM, an Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator from IBM, a Grundlagen des Online Marketing from Google, an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM, a Fundamentals of Business from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Business Coach from Hochschule Ansbach - University of Applied Sciences, and an AdA-Schein from IHK Regensburg für Oberpfalz / Kelheim.
