Gillian Lusby FCIPD

Gillian Lusby FCIPD is a CIPD qualified professional with extensive experience in senior human resource positions. Gillian began their career in 1995 as an HR Consultant at Exemplas Group and then moved to Touchstone Training as a Training Officer (Retail Sector) in 1996. From 1998 to 1998, they were a Contract Manager (Training) at Hertfordshire Learning & Skills Council where they reviewed the quality of training provision with employers and individual learners, monitored success rates of training providers from induction to completion of NVQ programmes and established effective working relationships with external awarding bodies. From 2005 to 2015, they worked as a Human Resources Manager (part-time) at Thinking Hat Associates Limited, where they prepared and implemented the HR plan, designed and implemented strategic HR projects to improve recruitment, retention and productivity, managed the employee lifecycle for Apprentices, Graduates, junior and experienced staff, senior managers and temporary workers, managed all recruitment campaigns, developed successful leadership and management development programmes, coached middle and senior managers to improve management interventions, supported partners and managers in disciplinaries, capabilities and grievances, reviewed, updated and implemented changes to staff benefits, managed the annual pay review, reviewed policies and procedures and supported their effective implementation, and worked with Partners and the Senior Leadership Team to identify and minimise potential risks in HR operations, including advising on changes in legislation. From 2015 to 2022, they were the Head of HR at St Albans High School For Girls. Gillian is currently the Director of HR at Mindtech Global Limited.

Gillian Lusby FCIPD holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Penrith, Cumbria.
