Scott Pain

Scott Pain has worked in the IT industry since 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Hastings Works as an IT Teacher and Teaching Assistant as well as a REACH team member, where they provided one-on-one tutoring to people with little or no computer skills, setting up email addresses and teaching clients how to use them, and teaching basic IT skills and general computer use. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at HW Healthcare Ltd as an IT and Database Administrator, running an in-house company payroll database and providing general technical support for three offices. In 2018, they joined Allied Healthcare as a Payroll Analyst and IT Procurement Specialist, where they oversaw and provided general support for the roll out of 6000 phones, acquired, distributed, and supported access to the company VPN, and negotiated prices with suppliers. Finally, in 2020, they joined Mindtech Global Limited as the Head of Testing and Deployment, where they developed an in-house testing framework in Unity to run automated tests on every pull request, created and deployed multiple Azure Pipelines for automated deployment, and created and deployed multiple PowerShell watchdogs for automated interactions between internal systems.

Scott Pain has a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the University of Bedfordshire, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Game Development from the University of Bedfordshire from 2010 to 2013.
