Rob Sare

Rob Sare is a Machine Learning Engineer at Mineral.ai, where Rob works on the Perception ML engineering team developing ML modeling pipelines for image classification. Rob also designs and implements command line infrastructure to automate experiments and evaluate models. Prior to this role, Rob was a Senior Data Scientist at Google, focusing on applying AI and computer vision to sustainable agriculture. Rob also has a background in Geological Sciences, with a Ph.D. from Stanford University where Rob developed Python packages for computer vision methods in earthquake geomorphology and published several research papers. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Rob also taught at Stanford University. Rob's educational background includes a BS in Geophysical Sciences from the University of Chicago.
