Lauren Tepoorten has a diverse professional background, beginning with their role as a Special Education Teacher for the NYC Department of Education from 2007-2013. Lauren then served as a Yoga Instructor for Lighthouse International from 2013-2016, and concurrently founded Daisy Yoga, a digital wellness service, in 2013. In 2016, they founded Yoga Yacht, originally offering boat-based yoga excursions for corporate wellness clients in New York. It has since evolved into memorable marketing events at some of the world's most prestigious yacht shows. In 2019, they founded LuxSeaTex, an award-winning sustainable textile consultancy, and also served as a Freelance Journalist for Monaco Life SARL. Most recently, they have been an Advisory Board Member for FuturED since 2021, and will begin as a Technical Account Manager for Minerva Project in 2022.
Lauren Tepoorten has a diverse educational background. Lauren completed a Bachelor's degree in Media and Cultural Studies at Eugene Lang College, New School University between 2003 and 2007. Lauren then went on to receive their Master of Science (MS) in Special Education and Teaching from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus between 2008 and 2010. In 2018, Lauren completed their Master of Business Administration - MBA in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at International University of Monaco. Lauren also holds an RYT200 certification from Lotus College of Yoga for Vinyasa yoga and restorative yoga.
