Serge Mosin has over 10 years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2012, they began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at ActForex. Serge then moved on to become a Researcher at the Omsk department of Sobolev Institute of Mathematics in 2014. In 2017, they joined innRoad as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2018, they became a Machine Learning Engineer at Trendalytics, where they improved Product search ranking with a model reaching 80% nDCG, created and trained a DNN for Visual Search, improved the Seasonality classification model F1 score by 27%, and integrated an Inflection/Extreme point detection model for trend swing alerts. In 2020, they joined Hyperscience as a Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead, where they optimized testing costs by 54% for Oracle test suite, implemented Integration testing framework, sped up submission completion by 5.3 times, developed infrastructure for ML-powered data extraction algorithms, and maintained and improved Ops architecture. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Minerva Project as a Senior Software Engineer.

Serge Mosin obtained their Specialist degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Omsk State University (OSU) between 2008 and 2013. Serge then pursued a Philosophy Doctorate in Computer Science (Databases) from the Omsk department of Sobolev Institute of Mathematics from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2018.
