Raghav Karnam began their career in 1996 as a Software Developer at Prime Cybernautics in Bangalore. In 1997, they moved to Deldot Systems in Bangalore as a Software Developer, where they worked on internet web development, HTML, C language based CGI-BIN development, internet/intranet configuration, and Java based Swing Applications. In 1998, they joined IonIdea as a Systems Analyst/Consultant, where they analyzed, designed, and estimated for the implementation of an enterprise application. In 2002, they joined AT&T as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed software for the AT&T business unit with JEE, C++, and scripting work. Raghav also designed and coded a complex contracts execution system for AT&T contracts on voice, data, and other business services. In 2004, they joined AOL as a Lead Engineer/Architect, where they prototyped and documented architecture for Campaign Marketing Management Platform. Raghav also collaborated with Business and Marketing teams to understand and collect business requirements. In 2014, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Manager of Software Engineering, where they led the architecture, management, and delivery of Enterprise Content Management Platform, Big Data Analytics + case management platform, and Competition/Challenge Management Platform. In 2016, they joined Capital One as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, where they led multiple teams to build platforms/products in API, streaming, and big data deployed on AWS with DevOps capabilities. In 2020, they joined Freddie Mac as a Director of Data and AI/ML Platform Architecture, where they set direction for Self Service Data Science Platform. Currently, they are working at MinIO as a Technology Executive, where they are building once and deploying anywhere with high performance S3 compatible object storage.

Raghav Karnam's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Bangalore University (1993-1996), a Master of Science in Information Technology from Virginia Tech (2005-2006), a Certificate in Business Administration and Management from MIT Sloan School of Management (2020-2021), and a Certificate in Systems Thinking from MIT xPRO (2022).
