Francisco Quiroga Alba is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and financial management, particularly within the public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions for the Directorate for State-owned Enterprises at the Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público, Francisco manages a portfolio of approximately USD 8 billion in the energy sector. Previously, as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at Previsora Seguros S.A., Francisco led one of Colombia's top insurance companies. Additional roles include teaching Financial Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, consulting for WaterAid, and holding various positions related to corporate strategy and investment banking within the Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público. Francisco also possesses strong academic credentials, including a Master's degree in Development Practice from UC Berkeley and a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from CESA.
