Mohammad Alobaid is currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Minister for Business Support at the Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia since October 2019, overseeing four General Departments within the Deputy Ministry for Consumer Protection and contributing to the development of two National Strategies. In addition to this role, Mohammad holds multiple board memberships with organizations such as the Saudi Standards Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), the General Food Security Authority, the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center, and the National Water Efficiency and Conservation Center. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager at TAHAKOM, where Mohammad managed core business operations, and as Region Director at Saudi Ozone Company, leading a team in ozone deployment solutions. Mohammad also held a leadership role at Beyoot Algharbeya, focusing on projects and construction management. Mohammad earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in 2006.
