Faisal Alshuwaier

Faisal Alshuwaier has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Faisal currently serves as the Director of IT, Strategy and Governance at the Ministry of Culture, a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to this, they were the Section Head of IT, Strategy and Governance at the same ministry from November 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining the Ministry of Culture, Faisal worked as an IT, Governance and Planning Specialist at the National Center for Performance Measurement from June 2019 to November 2020. Faisal also gained valuable experience at the Capital Market Authority, where they held the positions of Project Manager from August 2018 to June 2019 and PMO Officer from September 2015 to July 2018.

Faisal Alshuwaier received their Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences degree in Information System from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Faisal has also obtained additional certifications including the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2020, COBIT® 2019 from ISACA in 2020, Agile Project Management (AgilePM®) certification from APMG International in 2019, and an Associate's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University in 2018.
