Piret Kuusik currently serves as the Deputy PSC Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, a position held since April 2023, focusing on various EU-related working parties. Prior to this role, Piret worked as a Desk Officer for Energy-Transport-Climate at the same ministry in 2021 and has significant experience in defense and security, having organized the Lennart Meri Conference and contributed as a researcher at the Estonian Foreign Policy Institute from 2018 to 2021. Piret's academic background includes a degree from the College of Europe in European External Affairs, a Master of Arts in International Security from Sciences Po, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics with International Relations from the University of York. Piret has also pursued study abroad at The George Washington University.
