Veronica Miller-Richards is a seasoned professional in health information management, currently serving as the National Director for the International Federation of Health Information Management Associations (IFHIMA) and President of the Jamaican Health Information Management Association (JaHIMA) since 2018. With extensive experience in the Ministry of Health Jamaica as a Regional Health Records Administrator since 1992, Veronica has been responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of regional patient information systems to enhance patient care in alignment with national priorities. Previous roles include Immediate Past President of the Jamaica Medical Records Association (JMRA) and Deputy National Director for IFHIMA. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Service Administration and an Associate of Science in Health Information Technology from the University of Technology, Jamaica.
