Elkin Mammadov

Head Of International Taxation Division at Ministry of Taxes, the Republic of Azerbaijan

Elkin Mammadov has a diverse work experience. Elkin started their career as a Lawyer at ROYALBANK JSC in March 2012 and worked there until February 2013. Elkin then joined Baku Law Center as a Lawyer from June to December 2013. Since December 2013, Elkin has been associated with the Ministry of Taxes, the Republic of Azerbaijan. Elkin initially held the role of Chief Lawyer in the International Taxation Division and was later promoted to the position of Senior Lawyer. As of February 2022, they are currently working as the Head of the International Taxation Division.

Elkin Mammadov's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at Baku State University. Elkin completed their Bachelor's degree there, although the specific field of study is not provided. In 2009, they took a course at European University Viadrina that focused on international protection of human rights. In 2015, Elkin participated in a winter course at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, specializing in international protection of human rights. Elkin'seducation continued in 2022 and 2023 with an Advanced Professional Certificate in International Taxation from IBFD.
