Deborah Wright has been working in various roles in the field of biotechnology and immunotherapy. At MiNK Therapeutics, Deborah is currently employed as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Scientist II, overseeing the expansion and characterization of iNKT cells, as well as screening iNKT cells transferred with CARs for safety and efficacy. Previously, at Immunocore, Deborah served as a Research Scientist, focusing on isolating T cells with TCRs specific to cancer peptides. At the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Deborah held the position of Senior Finisher, working in computational biology to assemble genome sequences, primarily of the zebrafish. Deborah obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Virology from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Biochemistry from The University of Sheffield.
