Mary Schaefle

Mary Schaefle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and disaster response. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager and Business Analyst at the Minnesota Department of Transportation since October 2020, Mary has previously held significant roles at the American Red Cross, including Trainer & Disaster Volunteer Leader, Director of Product Management, and Manager of Disaster Staffing. Additionally, Mary was the Executive Director for the Minnesota Music Educators Association from June 2004 to June 2020 and served as a Board member at the Green Institute. Mary holds a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Minnesota.
