Facilities Manager - Historic Properties at Minnesota Historical Society

Aaron Novodvorsky has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the museum and exhibit industry. Aaron started their career as an Exhibits Project Manager at the Minnesota Historical Society in 1999 and later became the Facilities Manager for Historic Properties in 2014. In 2004, they ventured into independent consulting and worked as an Owner of their own museum consulting firm. Additionally, they have been a volunteer at the Minnesota Transportation Museum since 2007, assuming the role of Volunteer Site Manager and Interpreter at different locations. In 2014, Novodvorsky became a Partner and Owner at Novodvorsky Farm, LLP. Prior to that, they worked as an Exhibit Project Manager at Deaton Museum Services from 1994 to 1999.

Aaron Novodvorsky's education history starts in 1982 when they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Theatre Design and Technology from the University of North Dakota. Aaron then went on to pursue further education, earning an MFA in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Minnesota between 1986 and 1989.

In 2011, Aaron attended the AASLH Project Management Training for Non-Profits, where they received a certificate that goes towards their Project Management Certification.

Aaron has also obtained several certifications outside of their formal education. In 2015, they obtained the Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) 1/2 Day Introduction Certification from MOAB Training International, Inc. In 2016, they obtained the Asbestos Level III O&M Certification from Lake States Environmental, Ltd. Furthermore, in 2017, they acquired the Minnesota Boiler License - Special Class from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, and in 2018, they completed the Basic Workplace Safety Certification and the Powered Industrial Truck Train-the-Trainer Certification, both from the Minnesota Safety Council, Inc.

Additionally, Aaron holds a Minnesota Lead Supervisor License, although the specific details regarding their education for this license are not provided.
