About

The current leadership team at the Minnesota Historical Society has a lot of experience in historical societies and museums. The Executive Director, Kent Whitworth, was previously the Executive Director at the Kentucky Historical Society and the East Tennessee Historical Society. He has a degree in History with an emphasis in Historic Preservation from Middle Tennessee State University. The Director of Marketing & Public Relations, Elizabeth Alsop, was previously the Executive Director at Blount Mansion Association. She has a degree in History from Asbury University.
