Lisa Weidemann

Lisa Weidemann, PE, is currently serving as a Community Affairs Specialist at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency since February 2024. Prior to this role, Lisa worked as an Environmental Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. and held a senior leadership position in Social, Environmental, and Regulatory Approvals (SERA) at Teck American Incorporated, where responsibilities included managing the SERA team and coordinating project milestones with strategic business planning. Additional experience encompasses project engineering roles at S.S. Papadopulos & Associates, Inc., and ARCADIS, where project management and innovative remediation solutions were key focuses. Lisa started a career in environmental engineering with roles including Environmental Coordinator at Cliffs Natural Resources, and an EHS Intern at Cummins Power Generation. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Minor in Ecology from Michigan Technological University.
