James Yateman

Chief of Staff at Mino Games

James Yateman is the current Chief of Staff at Mino Games. Prior to their current position, they worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President - Commercial Financial Services KBI at RBC from January 2018 to December 2019. James was responsible for organizing the VP's calendar, providing exceptional service to CEOs and high value clients, managing videoconferences, expense reports, HR for employees, and scheduling global travel. James also anticipated and supported the VP's needs and organized VIP events with top leadership.

Before working at RBC, James worked at the Canada Border Services Agency from January 2017 to December 2017 as part of the National Security Screening Division. In this role, they were responsible for security screenings of foreign nationals for involvement in organized crime, crimes against humanity, genocide, and terrorism, including espionage and subversion. James also did data analysis and used complex systems on a daily basis, as well as open source research and work with the IRPA. This work was completed in a fast-paced environment within the confines of ridged deadlines and collaboration with multiple agencies. James created an extensive and detailed template that was recognized by multiple managers and is now used to train and guide new employees through the complex systems necessary to complete security screenings.

James Yateman received their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University. James was also awarded the Scholar Roll Award for maintaining an average over 85% at Ashbury College.
