HR Assistant
The Role:
The Human Resources Assistant will serve as a key partner to employees across all levels, providing comprehensive HR support while fostering an environment of trust and commitment. In this role, you will contribute to various functions within the People Team and lead HR initiatives and processes for the company.
As an HR Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in creating a positive employee experience by collaborating with Operations, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Acquisition, and cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for someone eager to launch their career in Human Resources.
You Will:
- Act as the primary point of contact for general employee inquiries, addressing and triaging questions related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
- Coordinate remote onboarding and offboarding processes in partnership with Recruiting, HR, Department Managers, and IT teams.
- Facilitate onboarding processes, including new hire orientation, paperwork, and employee announcements.
- Track and report weekly recruiting and HR metrics to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance and documentation for all HR processes, including training completion.
- Audit recruiting and HR systems to maintain accurate tracking of candidates and employee data.
- Manage employee terminations, including exit communications and conducting exit interviews as needed.
- Monitor and oversee annual performance reviews and goal-setting initiatives.
- Support HR Business Partners with biannual compensation reviews and annual bonus distribution processes and other ad hoc requests.
- Assist with various People Team projects, such as trainings, talent reviews, and employee development tools.
- Provide reporting from our Learning Management System (LMS) and follow up with employees to ensure training program completion.
- Create bespoke L&D tools such as job aids.
- Manage all incoming HR correspondence via the office.
- Assist in the onboarding and tracking of our nearshore resources.
- Orchestrate details for all-company events and meetings.
- Support company events, such as Hack-a-Thons and other engagement initiatives.
- Create ad-hoc reports and maintain existing ones as directed.

You Have:
- At least 1 year of experience (or relevant internship experience) in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience using an applicant tracking system and HRIS (bonus points for experience with Lever or Paylocity) is preferred
- Proficient with Google Drive (Google docs, sheets, and slides)
