Amanda L. Clairmont

Associate at Mintz

Amanda’s practice focuses on complex litigation and she advises clients through all stages of the litigation process from leading discovery efforts, researching and drafting briefs, preparing for administrative hearings, and dipositive motion practice. She regularly represents public and private companies, in a variety of industries including construction, real estate, and health care.

Amanda also maintains an active and robust pro bono practice with a specific focus on immigration issues. She recently worked with a team of Mintz attorneys researching and drafting an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the inclusion of a citizenship question on the 2020 census form. Her previous immigration experience before joining Mintz has allowed her to assist on multiple immigration pro bono cases, spanning from asylum to naturalization issues.

While in law school, Amanda served as an article editor for the Suffolk University Law Review and volunteered with the Suffolk Law Innocence Clinic. She also spent a summer as a judicial intern at the Massachusetts Superior Court and worked during her third year of law school as an immigration law teaching assistant.
