Benjamin Prentice has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Benjamin started their career in 2010 at WorkCover Queensland, where they worked as an Accounts Payable staff member, responsible for financial administration operations. In 2013, they joined TUH as a Finance/Claims Administrator, performing administrative and financial duties within a high-volume environment. In 2015, they worked at Third Horizon Consulting as an Assistant Accountant, where they handled various financial administrative duties and assisted with month-end and annual reporting. From 2016 to 2018, Benjamin worked as a Finance Manager at AnalogFolk, a global creative agency, where they managed financial tasks and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. In 2017, they became a Provisional Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Currently, they are employed at MiQ, where they have held roles as a Finance Manager for APAC and is currently working as a Finance Director for ANZ.

Benjamin Prentice completed their Bachelor's degree in Arts from The University of Queensland from 2002 to 2005. Benjamin then pursued a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from Deakin University from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their degrees, Benjamin also holds a Certificate III in Financial Services, although the institution, month, and year of attainment are not specified.
