Ames Cornish

Chief Information Security Officer at Mira Labs

Ames Cornish is the current Chief Information Security Officer at Mira Labs. Prior to this, Ames was with Prealize Health.

Before Prealize Health, Ames was with Software Development Forum from January 2004 to December 2008 where they were a Board Director. Ames was also the co-founder and co-chair of the Security special interest group.

From January 2003 to December 2007, Ames was with SF Bay Area Infragard Members Alliance as a Board Director. This is an FBI-sponsored cybersecurity and infrastructure protection community.

Ames Cornish is also the founder, president, and CTO of Montebello Partners. This company was previously known as Vividus and was founded in 1990. Ames was with the company from its inception until 1997 when they left to become the Group Marketing Manager at Apple Computer. After three years at Apple, Ames left to take on the role of Group Product Manager at Hewlett-Packard which they held for four years until leaving to start Montebello Partners.

Ames Cornish has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a BA and AM in Physics from Harvard University, and a certification from (ISC)² in CISSP. Ames also has a certification from the PCI Security Standards Council in Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and Payment Application Qualified Security Assessor (PA-QSA).

Ames Cornish works with Matt Stern - Co-Founder & COO, Montana Reed - Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, and Evan Bovie - CTO. Ames Cornish reports to Ben Taft, Founder & CEO.
