Matt Stern

Matt Stern has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Matt is currently working at Apple in the Vision Products Group. Prior to that, they were a Seed Investor at The Collective Scout Fund, where they focused on investing in pre-seed and seed-stage startups.

Matt also has experience as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Mira, a company that builds augmented reality solutions for enterprises. Matt has worked with Fortune 500s to improve their workflows using Mira Prism, a smartphone-powered augmented reality headset.

In addition, Matt has held various roles in the virtual reality field, including being a Fellow at Kairos, Head of Creative Initiatives and Entrepreneurship at VRSC, VR Researcher at MxR Studio, and Virtual Reality Innovator/Associate at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Matt's work experience also includes being a Virtual Reality Developer at Create VR and working in business development and design at Stasis Labs, a company focused on providing affordable technological solutions for healthcare in emerging markets.

Throughout their career, Matt has shown a strong interest in emerging technologies, specifically in the fields of augmented reality and virtual reality. Matt has also been involved in venture management and has a background in creative arts and innovation.

Matt Stern attended Mira Costa High School from 2010 to 2014. Later, from 2014 to 2018, they studied at the University of Southern California, specifically at the Iovine Young Academy. Here, they focused on the Arts, Technology, and Business of Innovation, with a specialization in Mixed Reality and Venture Management.
