Evan Bovie

Evan Bovie has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Evan is currently the CTO of Mira, where they lead engineering direction, architecture, development, and process. Evan has developed enterprise products for Mira, including Prism Pro, Prism Hardhat, Connect, and Flow, which improve operational efficiencies for users worldwide.

Prior to their role at Mira, Evan co-owned endScene Productions and owned phaseOne Technology Solutions. In these positions, they likely gained entrepreneurial and management experience in the technology industry.

Evan also worked at VRLIVE as the Head of IT, where they crafted Universal Music Group's 4K 360 live streaming and VOD platform. Evan utilized various technologies such as Unity, Node.js, Firebase, AWS, and FFmpeg for this project.

In addition, Evan freelanced for Mira, where they advised on development and company strategy. Evan also engineered a tabletop IR pen interface for 3D sketching and the Unity application that utilized it.

Before all these experiences, Evan worked at Create Advertising, where they conducted research and development in virtual reality. Evan contributed to engineering the first VR experience, The Walk, and designed and developed VR experiences for popular Hollywood IP, including Ghostbusters VR and Spider-Man VR.

Evan Bovie completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation from the University of Southern California in the period between 2014 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended Manheim Township High School from 2010 to 2014.
