Jim Shanley

Jim Shanley has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jim currently serves as the Head of Quality at Mirati Therapeutics since 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Quality, Senior Director at Celgene from 2016 to 2020. Jim also worked as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Orexigen Therapeutics from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they held the role of Director Commercial Quality at Amylin Pharmaceuticals from 2007 to 2013. Jim also worked as an Associate Director of QA at Ionis Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2007. Jim began their career as an Associate Scientist at Raylo Chemicals in 1985 and later worked at Chembiomed Ltd. as an Associate Scientist from 1987 to 1992. Jim then joined Pfizer as a Senior Manager of Quality Control from 1992 to 2002. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Quality Consulting from 2002 to 2004.

Jim Shanley attended the University of Alberta, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
