Eckhard Schwenner has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Eckhard started their career at Bayer AG Germany, where they served as the Department Head of Medicinal Chemistry, directing and supervising chemistry and pharmacological programs. Eckhard then moved on to Bayer Corporate Planning and Controlling, where they were the Head of Coordination for R&D. Following their time at Bayer, Schwenner joined LSCN GmbH as a Corporate Development Expert, and later became an Advisory Board Member for HealthtechTAB, a European Commission sponsored mentoring service. Eckhard then served as the CEO of Health-I Business Consulting and as the Interim COO of mir|detect. Schwenner's most recent role was as the CEO of the Healthcare Incubator for Emerging Markets at Philips.
Eckhard Schwenner completed their Abitur at Freiherr-vom-Stein Gymnasium Hamm from 1965 to 1973. Eckhard then pursued their higher education at the University of Münster, where they obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Organic Chemistry from 1973 to 1982.
