Jonathan Lauria

Jonathan Lauria has a diverse work experience in the field of art and design. Jonathan is currently working at Misfits Gaming Group as a Senior Art Director, where they oversee the artistic direction of the brand partnerships. Prior to this, they held a role as an Art Director for brand partnerships at the same company.

Before joining Misfits Gaming Group, Jonathan worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Starpil Wax from February 2020 to May 2022. During their time there, they contributed to the design and development of graphic materials.

Jonathan also has experience as a freelance designer, where they provided their services from January 2015 to February 2020, and worked on various projects.

In 2019, Jonathan served as a Marketing Coordinator at Acqualina Resort and Spa on the Beach. In this role, they were responsible for creating promotional materials and developing internal marketing collateral.

Jonathan's earlier experiences include working as a Concept Artist and Art Director at Alfer from May 2012 to December 2014, where they were involved in designing and teaching the art style for a game. Jonathan also worked as an Art Director, Illustrator, and Designer at the same company from September 2011 to April 2012, focusing on expanding the brand into tourism and adventure.

Additionally, Jonathan has worked as a Logo Designer at E2CB Construction Co. in July 2011 and as a Freelance Designer for the Government Accountability Office in Miranda, Venezuela from June 2008 to July 2010. In the latter role, they designed monthly newsletters, event banners, and campaigns.

Jonathan Lauria attended the Instituto de Diseño de Caracas from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Illustration. Prior to their enrollment in Instituto de Diseño de Caracas, Jonathan obtained a Diploma in Technique illustration, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, and Freehand drawing from the Miro Art Institute in 2003 to 2004.
